Sidney Roper Weisiger Personal Name and Topic File

Of significant value in the Weisiger Collection is a collection of about 8,000 handwritten notes representing his recording of information located in a variety of sources, including newspapers, county records and interviews. The note collection, written in pencil on 4x6 sheets of paper are being transcribed by library staff and are available here for searching. As of August 2007, entries A through S have been transcribed. Information on the notes can sometimes be fairly cryptic, no effort has been made to "interpret" the information presented.
