Sidney R. Weisiger Collection Index

A significant part of the Sidney Roper Weisiger Collection is contained within 23 archival boxes which hold Mr. Weisiger's notes, clippings, and other materials collected in his local history writing and research. Vera Johnson, in her thesis A Descriptive study of the Sidney Roper Weisiger Local History Collection, prepared a personal name and subject index for the materials within the files housed in these boxes. This index was published as Appendix B. of her thesis. In preparing this material for the web access, library staff has begun a slow process of transcription and scanning of materials in the files and linking the transcriptions to a database prepared from the information in Appendix B.
