We've Moved!

We have been working hard, for our move to the new library in University Commons at 3006 N. Ben Wilson Street. There are many exciting things happening as a part of this transition.

Brittany Rodriguez has joined the Library as our new Special Collections Librarian. Brittany is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas where she completed her Master of Science in Library Science, as well as finishing a certificate program in archival management.

We are also planning to use new web-based archival collections management software. This software will offer public portal access to collections and more in-depth documentation about them, to share information about our collections and historical records. This software is coming soon. We will keep you informed as we move forward.

Part of the preparations for our move involves a complete inventory of all our collections. During this time and moving forward, please understand that we may not have immediate access to our physical manuscript collections or the Regional Historical Resource Depository county records.

During this transition period and in the future, we want to continue serving our patrons as effectively and efficiently as possible. We ask that you please contact our staff in advance to schedule a research consultation or to request materials. This assures that we give you and your research needs the best service in the timeliest manner.
