About Us

The Victoria Regional History Center serves as a repository for institutional records and other material that document the history of the University of Houston-Victoria, Victoria College, and the greater Victoria area. Through its collections and services, the Victoria Regional History Center strives to collect, preserve, and provide equal access to material of historical value for use by students, faculty, staff, and the general public in support of administrative service, instruction, and research.

Materials in the VRHC are jointly owned by the University of Houston-Victoria and Victoria College. It is managed and housed in the UHV Library located in the University Commons building at 3006 N. Ben Wilson, Victoria, Texas.

The Victoria Regional History Center accepts donations that support the study of the history of Victoria and the surrounding area. For more information, please see our Collection Development Policy.

All donations should be accompanied by a Deed of Gift. Please contact the Victoria Regional History Center for additional information on donating materials or to schedule a delivery of the donation.
