Collection Summary
The Historic Photograph Collection has grown over the years to over 23,000 photographic images, both print and negative. Diligently assembled by Victoria College faculty Charles Spurlin and Robert Shook and enhanced by the donations of thousands of photographs provided by local residents, the historical photograph collection contains studio photographs as well as snapshots of everyday life and events from the 19th century to the present.
Retrieval and Reproduction
Special handling is required in the retrieval of these photographs. Some are print copies, others print originals, and yet others are in negative format. Victoria Regional History Center Staff will assist you in the retrieval of images that interest you. Photographic prints can be ordered through the Center. Order forms, price, and other information will be provided on request. Several days will be necessary to process your order.

Permissions and Credits
Copyright of photographic images is retained by the taker of the photograph. Permission to reproduce photographs for publication should be obtained by the customer. VRHC staff can assist to the extent our information resources allow.
